SEATTLE — Seattle’s Professional Women’s Hockey League team revealed the home and away jerseys for its inaugural season on Tuesday.
Each sweater features “Seattle” stitched diagonally across the front, which references the jersey designs of the first six PWHL teams. The Seattle team is going with generic branding for this season.
The jersey’s color palettes are inspired by Seattle’s natural surroundings. and feature a “deep slate green” and a cream color, with a “river blue” accent.
“These jerseys pay tribute to the PWHL’s inaugural season with their classic design, honoring the journey that led us to our first year in Seattle,” said Meghan Turner, PWHL Seattle General Manager. “We’ll be proud to wear our city name in our own inaugural season — a continued reminder of the roots we’re establishing here and our commitment to representing this city with pride.”
The team identity is expected to be revealed ahead of the regular season kickoff in late November, and will feature into the on-ice uniforms beginning the 2026-27 season.
In the team’s first-ever appearance, they’ll take on West Coast rivals the PWHL Vancouver on Nov. 21. The Seattle PWHL’s first home game will be played at Climate Pledge Arena at 1 p.m. on Nov. 28.
Seattle, alongside Vancouver, are the league’s first two expansion franchises, joining the original six teams in Boston, Minnesota, Montreal, New York, Ottawa and Toronto.
The team will be coached by Steve O’Rourke, who comes in with 15 years of coaching experience. Four-time Olympian Hilary Knight was the first player Seattle signed during the PWHL’s expansion process.
