King County employees receive 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary and are eligible to receive a free ORCA card for transportation use.  Evening and Night shifts include a shift differential in addition to the standard compensation rate.  

Shift : Monday to Friday 0600-14.30

Some of what you'll do:

  • Provide client care to patients
  • Schedule medical appointments for patients off hospital grounds, and ensure patients are safe and supervised during appointments
  • Ensure all referred patients are scheduled and escorts are available to provide escort and transportation
  • Manage and coordinate the safety and security of patient's personal belongings during admission, while in the facility and during discharge
  • Maintain adequate ward supplies (forms, commissary stock)
  • Maintain equipment inventory
  • Accompany/transport patients to and from all medical appointments
  • Accompany patients to off-ward activities

What we're looking for:
  • Knowledge of patients to off-ward activities
  • Ability to use de-escalation skills 
  • Maintain a Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) or Nursing Assistant Registration (NAR)
  • Ability to communicate and comprehend (through oral and written forms of communication) 
  • Valid driver's license
